LAWS to abide by in Albion Empty
PostSubject: LAWS to abide by in Albion   LAWS to abide by in Albion EmptySat Nov 08, 2008 12:29 am

1. There is good and there is evil but NO ONE is all powerful. We are all still human and we have our limits, know yours (aka no godmoding).

When men are pure, laws are useless; when men are corrupt, laws are broken.
-Benjamin Disraeli (1804 - 1881)

2. There is NO DISCRIMINATION in Albion. Do not criticize anyone because of their gender, race, sexual orientation, etc. We are here to create and share elaborate stories of adventures, not to prove our superiority over one another.

The welfare of the people is the ultimate law.
(Salus Populi Suprema Est Lex)

-Cicero (106 BC - 43 BC)

3. Heroes may NOT ATTEMPT TO KILL OR FIGHT each other. Quests are provided if you really need to work off that testosterone high. Any random encounters with Hobbes, bandits, beetles, Balverines, or trolls is permissible.

Laws are partly formed for the sake of good men, in order to instruct them how they may live on friendly terms with one another, and partly for the sake of those who refuse to be instructed, whose spirit cannot be subdued, or softened, or hindered from plunging into evil.
-Plato (427 BC - 347 BC)

4. No random massacres are allowed unless you are instructed to do so by a Quest.

Law is order in liberty, and without order liberty is social chaos.
-Archbishop Ireland

5. Please DO NOT use the message boards to advertise for your own site. If you insist on the exposure, the Administrator or a moderator can add the link on a separate board, created for affiliations. In return for our kindness, we would appreciate it if you included our forum link on your advertised site.

Failure to adhere to these LAWS will result in BANNING

**If there are any questions about these LAWS or they need to be clarified, please notify the Administrator or a moderator via private message and we will be happy to help you understand.**
